“I PHOTOGRAPH THE THINGS I CAN’T PAINT, I PAINT THE THINGS I CAN’T PHOTOGRAPH” – Man Ray

My name is Ewa Rode and I’ am 46 years old. I live together with my husband and my four children near Linköping, Sweden. We have horses, cats, pigs and two dogs.

My interest of pictures has always been big, and I pain oil, draw and photographs. I develop my photographs in my own lab and in a photo club. Photos from the birth of photography are the era I like the most. I see photography a art form, but also like a frozen moment to remember. When the course of events is over, the picture is still there, in a sort of eternity. A photo can be more worth remembering then film.

I’ve been honorable mentioned in the swedish magazine “FOTO” several times:
# 9-2004, with the photo "Missing".
# 3-2006 with the photo "The wedding".
# 5-2006 with the photo "Abdi Nalaye and Criztall".
# 1-2007 with the photo "Keep Away".

I´ve also been represented in the OKLAHOMA CAMERA CLUB, INC. USA. 2007 competition:
with the photo "Abdi Nalaye and Criztall".

”FANTASIN ÄR DET SOM DINA ÖGON INTE SER” – Christer Strömholm

Mitt namn är Ewa Rode och jag är 46 år gammal. Jag bor tillsammans med min man och mina fyra barn utanför Linköping. Vi har hästar, katter, minigrisar och två hundar.

Mitt bildintresse har alltid varit stort och jag målar olja, tecknar och fotograferar. Jag framkallar mina bilder i ett eget fotolabb och är med i en fotoklubb. Bäst tycker jag om foton från fotografins födelse och jag ser fotografering som en konstart, men också som ett fruset ögonblick att minnas. När händelsen är över finns bilden kvar i en sorts oändlighet. Ett foto kan vara mer minnesvärt än en rörlig bild.

Jag har blivit hedersomnämnd i tidningen ”FOTO” flera gånger:
# 9-2004 men bilden "Missing".
